Providing patients with access to clinical trials is an integral part of services offered at the Comprehensive
Cancer Center. Currently there are more than 45 research studies in place in collaboration with a network of
Aptium Oncology-managed cancer centers throughout the country. Some 120 oncologists participate within this
network. These physicians conduct investigational-initiated trials in addition to working with national
cooperative groups and major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on Phase I - IV clinical trials.
