LAWRENCE P. LEICHMAN, M.D., F.A.C.P.

Dr. Leichman has over 25 years of clinical, teaching and research experience at highly renowned medical centers including
the University of Southern California - Kenneth J. Norris Jr. Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Roswell Park Cancer Center,
Buffalo, New York. He is board certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine. He specializes in the management of a wide
spectrum of solid tumors, with emphasis in gastrointestinal malignancies, sarcoma, melanoma, breast cancer and cancer of unknown
primaries. Dr. Leichman is nationally recognized in "America's Top Doctors" and "Best Doctors," and he is a consultant for the
National Cancer Institute, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He is the Medical Director of Aptium Oncology GI Cancer
Consortium and the National Program Director, Gastrointestinal Malignancies, for Aptium Oncology. He also is the Co-Director of
Upper G.I. Malignancies, Southwest Oncology Group. Dr. Leichman is a member of the NCI Intergroup Upper Gastrointestinal Task Force.
He earned his medical degree and completed his residency and fellowship at Michigan's Wayne State University School of Medicine.
