Dr. Lee is a specialist in breast surgery, general surgery and oncology surgery with more than 15 years' experience. Her areas of interest are breast surgery, oncoplastic techniques, minimally invasive procedures and the integration of new technology into breast care. Prior to joining the Comprehensive Cancer Center, Dr. Lee completed a breast surgery fellowship at the University of Southern California/Keck School of Medicine, Division of Tumor/Endocrine Surgery. While a fellow at USC, Dr. Lee was awarded the Scientific Impact Recognition Award from the American Society of Breast Surgeons. She earned her medical degree at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, and completed residencies in general surgery and trauma/ surgical critical care at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center in Camden, N.J. She serves as Medical Director of The Desert Comprehensive Breast Center at Desert Regional Medical Center, and has an academic appointment as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Surgery at USC.
