Dr. Genesen offers a full-time, full-service program for the treatment of gynecologic cancers. A board-certified gynecologic oncologist, Dr. Genesen has over 10 years' professional experience in clinical practice, research and education. He provides all aspects of care, including, where necessary, chemotherapy, surgery and coordination of radiation therapy. Prior to relocating to Palm Springs, Dr. Genesen was in clinical practice and a faculty member at the University of New Mexico Cancer Research and Treatment Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His research accomplishments include serving as an investigator for National Cancer Institute clinical trials through the South West Oncology Group and Gynecologic Oncology Group. He earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences and he completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Loyola University Medical Center, Chicago, Ill.
