Evelyn L. Kachikwu, M.D. opened offices at the Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2011 as a specialist in General Surgery and Oncologic Surgery. Dr. Kachikwu was Senior Surgical Fellow and Clinical Instructor at City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California. Her special interests are in breast, colorectal, gastric, pancreatic and liver cancers, and melanoma. Dr. Kachikwu was born in London, England. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the American University School of Medicine, St. Maarten, Netherland Antilles. She completed her Surgical Internship at Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. She was Administrative Chief Surgical Resident at Morehouse School of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Kachikwu is Board-certified in General Surgery and is trained in robotic and laparoscopic surgery. She sees patients at the Comprehensive Cancer Center's main facility at Desert Regional Medical Center, Palm Springs, and at the cancer center's satellite in La Quinta.
